I like eating from my backyard, whether it’s wild and garden plants from my literal backyard or produce and products from the wider community—vegetables from the local CSA, milk from the dairy across the river, etc. I like experimenting in the kitchen and seeing what meals I can prepare with food that is available here and now. I also just like cooking and eating in general.
In another life, I am a children’s author. You can find out about my books here: katherinerawson.com
